Golf tourism in Canary Islands

A total of 358.730 tourists, of the 10.551.445 who visited the Islands in the year 2010, played to the golf in someone of 23 fields of the Archipelago, according to information of the Institute of Statistics of Canaries (Istac).
 For islands, which attracted a tourists' major index with interest to practise golf they were Tenerife together with La Gomera, with 196.831 of the total; followed of Great Canary, with 113.073; and Fuerteventura together with Lanzarote, with 48.826. As for the municipalities, which concentrated a major number of interested parties in practising golf was Saint Bartholomew of Tirajana, followed of Adeje and of Arona.
