Fuerteventura will promote as tourist destination in the cinemas of Spain
Fuerteventura's island will promote, during every April, as tourist destination in the cinemas of all the cities of Spain thanks to the collaboration between the Patronage of insular Tourism, and the companies Travel Plan, Air Europa and the chain of hotels Meliá.
As he has communicated the patronage, Fuerteventura will be the protagonist of an advertisement of 20 seconds, who will be projected in approximately 170 cinemas, with that one tries to come to an objective public of 3 million weekly tourists.
The advertisement will be included after the promotion of the movie " is Company Men ", whose premiere is foreseen for the next April 29 and it takes Ben Affleck and Kevin Costner as protagonists to actors as Tomy Lee Jones, between others.
The advertisement will reflect the excellences of the destination tourist Fuerteventura and his beaches and his conditions will be highlighted as ideal destination for the practice of nautical sports, it indicates the note.

Fuerteventura's procession that this week has moved to Berlin, composed by the president of the Chapter of Fuerteventura, Mario Cabrera, the adviser of tourism, Águeda Montelongo, the councilmen of tourism of the town halls of Crafty woman, Blas Acosta; The Olive, Hanna Souweileh, and of Antigua, Maria Dolores Gonzalez, the president of the Chamber of Trade of Fuerteventura, Antonio Rodríguez Marichal, as well as hotel businessmen of the island, were inaugurating this morning his presence in the fair of the most important tourism of the world, the ITB..

New Casino in Fuerteventura
The Advice of Government of Canaries approves yesterday the summons of the contest for the adjudication of the installation of a casino in the municipality of The Antigua.
The president of the Chapter of Fuerteventura, Mario Cabrera remembers that " during the last months we have come being employed together at the culmination of the process destined to authorize the possible opening of a casino in the municipality of Antigua, fulfilling of this form the requests formulated from the business community of the zone and in general of the whole Fuerteventura, since this possibility already was gathered previously for Crafty woman and The Olive ".
The Decree 299/2003 was establishing that the Wardenship of Presidency and Justice was deciding where they might install the casinos. The presidency of the Chapter passed, in his day, unanimously

Fuerteventura increases 41,1 % the number of flights come to the island

It follows United Kingdom, from where they detached 193 planes with course to Fuerteventura, who is translated in an increase of 41,9 year-on-year per cent (136 flights in 2010), but that reaches a difference of +91,1 per cent if the comparative one carries out with the year 2009 (101 flights in 2009).
For your part, the Spanish market places thirdly, reaching the number of 100 flights sent to Fuerteventura during last month, being 93 in 2010 and 96 in 2009.
On the other hand, the percentage increase of countries stands out considerably as Italy, which in February, 2010 took to the island 16 flights, and last month they were 58, which supposes an increase of 262,5 per cent. Swiss Triathlon Training Camp at Canary Islands
The Swiss National Triathlon team have had a picture perfect start to their 2011 ITU season, but forgive the athletes if they didn’t have time to take in the breathtaking views on a recent training camp.
National coach Iwan Schuwey led the two-week camp based in Gran Canaria with a total of 17 athletes, including 14 national team members and three guests, and five staff. Among the elite athletes were Gold Group members Nicola Spirig and Sven Riederer, and Reto Hug and Ruedi Wild.
“The two weeks in Gran Canaria were great,” said Spirig, last year’s World Championship silver medallist. “My personal coach came as well so we had only advantages in this camp. We could benefit from the infrastructure of a federation camp with organised travels, hotel, team massage therapist and doctor. Plus we could train in a group with the other young Swiss athletes. This mix and the perfect weather we had for the whole two weeks made the training at the camp very good and we enjoyed the time in Gran Canaria.”

Air Berlin's Plane lands of Emergency in Lanzarote
Arrecife (Lanzarote), 20 feb (EFE) .-An Airbus A-320 of the company Air Berlin, proceeding from Germany and with arrival in Fuerteventura, has landed today in Lanzarote without problems after activating the safety protocol and emergency of the airport on having presented an electrical problem.
Airport sources have informed to Efe, that they have indicated that the plane landed in the airport of Guacimeta at ten in the morning.

A total of 358.730 tourists, of the 10.551.445 who visited the Islands in the year 2010, played to the golf in someone of 23 fields of the Archipelago, according to information of the Institute of Statistics of Canaries (Istac).
For islands, which attracted a tourists' major index with interest to practise golf they were Tenerife together with La Gomera, with 196.831 of the total; followed of Great Canary, with 113.073; and Fuerteventura together with Lanzarote, with 48.826. As for the municipalities, which concentrated a major number of interested parties in practising golf was Saint Bartholomew of Tirajana, followed of Adeje and of Arona.
